TUTCO, LLC, a leading manufacturer of heat strips and heating elements, used in the HVAC and Appliance industry is seeking a highly motivated and detail-orientated Production Supervisor to join our team in the Cookeville, TN facility. TUTCO LLC is a Subsidiary of Smiths Group with Headquarters in London, England.
We are seeking individuals who are self-starters, upbeat and motivated with an excellent work ethic. Candidates must possess the ability to learn quickly and effectively in our highly technical, ever changing, competitive business.
Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Direct the operations of employees throughout the production department.
  • Review and approve all production schedules.
  • Control operating costs and capital, including maximizing operating efficiencies and production rates.
  • Ensure that products are produced in accordance with quality specifications and maintain efficient production processes.
  • Accomplish manufacturing employee results by effectively communicating job expectations by planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Enforce all systems, policies, and procedures while coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees when deemed necessary.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and ensure all employees work safely.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
  • BS in Business or Engineering preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing with at least 1 - 2 years managing people or projects.
  • Proven knowledge and application of ERP/MRP systems.
  • Proven knowledge and application of lean manufacturing concepts.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
