Job description

Company Overview

4Tower is the leading SaaS company improving how healthcare facilities are planned, designed, constructed, and activated. Our platform helps health systems, planners, architects, contractors, vendors, and clinical teams coordinate all types of facility construction projects and their complex medical equipment requirements and decisions which directly impact budgets, schedules, space design, utilities, procurement, and project outcomes.

4Tower is built around two integrated components: SpecSource, a robust product catalog that connects medical equipment vendors, specifications, and product data with project teams; and SpecAdvisor, a planning and coordination platform used to manage all capital medical equipment  from early budgeting and selection through drawing coordination, procurement, logistics, installation, and activation.

Medical equipment coordination is one of the most critical and interesting parts of healthcare facility delivery: every product must be selected, specified, budgeted, located, tracked, and aligned with drawings, BIM models, installation needs, and stakeholder decisions. 4Tower brings that process into a single, data-driven platform-helping project teams reduce errors, minimize rework, improve communication, and deliver better facility outcomes.

Job Overview:

The Manager, Product Catalog is responsible for the leadership, stewardship, growth, and continuous improvement of the Product Catalog function, including the management of SpecSource. This medical equipment database powers 4Tower's SpecAdvisor platform.
This role oversees catalog operations, product data governance, vendor partnership programs, team leadership, quality assurance, process improvement, and technology adoption initiatives. The successful candidate will ensure the integrity, usability, scalability, and long-term value of catalog content while driving operational improvements, strengthening vendor engagement, and supporting the continued evolution of the SpecSource ecosystem.
A key focus of this role will be advancing catalog governance and standardization efforts, including taxonomy refinement, nomenclature alignment, category-level data management, data quality initiatives, and the development of scalable processes utilizing automation and AI-enabled solutions.
While maintaining operational excellence, this role is also expected to identify and implement opportunities that improve catalog governance, operational scalability, vendor engagement, and technology adoption over time.
This position works closely with manufacturers, vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders and plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing one of the industry's most comprehensive healthcare equipment databases.
The Product Catalog function has an established operational foundation, defined processes, existing vendor relationships, and a growing team. This role offers a significant opportunity to further improve catalog quality, operational efficiency, vendor engagement, and long-term scalability.
The ideal candidate is a self-sufficient and highly organized leader who enjoys solving complex information challenges, improving processes, leveraging technology, and building structure within evolving environments.

Qualifications:

  • Experience utilizing automation tools, low-code/no-code platforms, workflow optimization technologies, or business systems integrations.

Software Knowledge:

  • Experience managing product catalogs, product information, content repositories, or complex data sets.
  • Active use of AI tools for research, analysis, process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
  • Experience with reporting, workflow management, automation, project management, and business productivity platforms.
  • Ability to independently learn, administer, troubleshoot, and optimize software platforms.
  • Knowledge of Jira or similar issue tracking and project management systems is strongly preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced spreadsheet and data analysis skills, including reporting, lookup functions, pivot tables, and data manipulation.

Personal Attributes

  • Naturally curious and enjoys learning new technologies, systems, and business processes.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Resourceful and capable of independently identifying and implementing practical solutions.
  • Effective communicator who builds productive relationships with vendors, clients, and internal teams.
  • Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Committed to continuous learning, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Primary Responsibilities:

Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Client Services, Sales, Product, and Development teams to improve platform usability, operational effectiveness, and overall client experience.
  • Translate client, vendor, and internal stakeholder feedback into actionable recommendations.
  • Support initiatives that enhance the value and effectiveness of the SpecAdvisor platform.
