Position Information: This is a regular, full-time position, reporting to the SVP Product Management, AI Initiatives.
Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $110,862.00 and $160,000.00 per year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.
Location: In this US-based position your location will be remote.
Travel: You can also expect up to approximately 20% travel, so be sure you have a valid driver's license and automobile insurance and a clean driving record for at least the preceding 39 months.

Envision Your Experience.
In this role you'll have the opportunity to:
  • Lead user-centered discovery and decision-making, gathering insights through interviews, classroom research, analytics, and stakeholder input-translating empathy and evidence into clear product direction and prioritized backlogs.
  • Deliver iterative value each sprint, launching lean v1 solutions into real classrooms quickly, then measuring what matters: whether students and teachers are better off. Prioritize learning and impact over polish or perfection.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive execution and impact, aligning Engineering, Design, Curriculum, Sales, and Marketing around clear outcomes, managing dependencies, and ensuring strong go-to-market readiness.
  • Operate as an AI-native product manager, using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Lovable, Replit, and other emerging AI development platforms to prototype concepts, generate PRDs, analyze data, simulate user flows, and accelerate discovery-treating AI as a daily co-pilot in product thinking and execution.
  • Solve meaningful customer problems through AI-powered educational products, leveraging technologies such as LLMs, natural language processing, and computer vision to create impactful teacher and student experiences.
  • Bridge user obsession with technical fluency, partnering closely with engineers to refine prompts, evaluate model behavior, and scope AI capabilities-while confidently facilitating teacher interviews and synthesizing pedagogical insights. Design and implement clear evaluation frameworks for AI-powered features, defining success metrics, testing for hallucinations and bias, and ensuring reliability, safety, and instructional quality at scale.
  • Own measurable outcomes, defining success metrics, running experiments, performing competitive research (especially in emerging AI trends in education), and holding the team accountable to improvements in teacher adoption, student impact, engagement, and revenue performance
  • Act as a responsible disruptor and force multiplier, pushing bold innovation while safeguarding student privacy, safety, and instructional integrity-raising the ambition, clarity, and effectiveness of every team you work with.
  • Continuously sharpen your edge in a rapidly evolving AI landscape, staying current on model capabilities, emerging tools, research breakthroughs, and competitive shifts-translating new possibilities into pragmatic product advantages.
  • Other duties as required.

Share Your Expertise.
Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Product Management, Education, Business, or a related field and at least 5 years of Product Management experience, including at least 3 years working on SaaS or AI/ML products; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in the edtech industry highly preferred.
  • Proven AI adoption experience and regularly use AI to draft, analyze, build, and iterate across work.
  • Tangible evidence shipping a new process, tool, approach, product idea, or something that did not exist before your involvement.
  • Strong understanding of software development, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and modern engineering practices.
  • Experience with online project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, etc. in partnership with excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum and product discovery techniques/technology solutions.
  • Strong working knowledge of LLMs, prompt design, RAG pipelines, human-in-the-loop systems, evaluation metrics, and responsible AI practices.
  • Experience with vibe coding tools: Figma Make, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Replit, v0, Lovable, Bolt, etc.
  • Data-driven, analytical thinker with the ability to identify and understand complex problems and formulate alternate solutions.
  • Ability to build team cohesiveness, lead, influence, and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve challenging goals.
  • Experience collaborating with Engineering and other key stakeholders.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong organizational skills; self-directed to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes.
  • Background in software engineering or computer science.
  • Ability to cope with change, shift gears comfortably, and decide and act appropriately.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% to engage with school partners, educators, and internal teams as needed.
