As your initial project assignment, you will support the unique needs of our client as a Power Platform Architect.Project Summary
AIS is seeking a Power Platform Architect / Developer to lead the design, development, governance, and implementation of enterprise business solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform. This role blends architecture and hands-on development responsibilities, requiring a candidate who can define scalable solution patterns while also building high-quality applications, automations, integrations, and analytics capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead architecture and technical design for Power Platform solutions that meet business, functional, security, and operational requirements.
  • Define scalable solution patterns, reusable components, environment strategy, ALM practices, and governance controls for enterprise Power Platform adoption.
  • Architect solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI, Power Pages, and supporting Azure services where appropriate.
  • Translate business requirements into solution designs, technical specifications, data models, and integration patterns.
  • Design, configure, and develop Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, automated workflows, approval processes, and custom business solutions on the Power Platform.
  • Build and maintain Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, forms, views, and security models.
  • Develop integrations between Power Platform and enterprise systems using connectors, custom connectors, APIs, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and other Microsoft cloud services.
  • Create reporting and dashboard solutions using Power BI to support operational insight and executive decision-making.
  • Establish and enforce Power Platform governance standards including environment strategy, DLP policies, connector management, solution segmentation, and release management.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation, application modernization, and process transformation.

Required For This Opportunity
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience designing and developing Microsoft business solutions, including significant hands-on experience with the Power Platform.
  • Deep expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, Power Pages, and Microsoft 365 integration.
  • Experience architecting enterprise-grade low-code solutions with strong attention to security, supportability, and scalability.
  • Strong understanding of application lifecycle management (ALM), solution packaging, deployment pipelines, and environment strategies.
  • Experience integrating Power Platform with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Dynamics 365, Azure services, and external systems.
  • Knowledge of identity and access concepts including Entra ID, role-based security, least privilege, and service account design.
  • Experience with REST APIs, JSON, custom connectors, and integration design.

Nice to Have Skills
  • Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert; Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate; Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate; or any Azure or Microsoft 365 related certifications.
  • Experience with Copilot Studio, AI Builder, and emerging Microsoft automation and agent capabilities.
  • Experience in regulated or large enterprise environments with formal governance, security, and change management requirements.
