As a Population Health Business Analyst with BCBSWY, you serve as an essential member of the Population Health team. You will be responsible for supporting the population health director in creating and overseeing programs using data and analytics by coordinating with subject matter experts to identify trends in access, quality, utilization, and efficiency in the healthcare delivery system. A strong background in creating written reports, graphs, and presentations is key. To be successful, you must be able to organize and prioritize while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
This role will include coordinating with internal and external partners to support the department. Daily this role will include attending meetings, completing work, and communicating with peers to coordinate tasks within the department. Ability to organize information is vital for this position.
As a recognized BCBSWY employee, we count on you to positively serve in the role of "Brand Ambassador" within the local community and/or geographical region. Within this role, you will be tasked with supporting presentations.
To be successful in this role, you will need knowledge of business principles relevant to project management, prioritization, analytics review, report writing, and communication.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree in business or other related. Masters degree and/or previous experiences in healthcare is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft products including WORD and EXCEL. Active driver's license.
Population Health Business Analyst
There may be evening and weekend hours on a periodic basis as well as periodic in-state travel, with some overnight travel possible out of state. This position is not intended to be remote on a regular basis. This position is based out of the Cheyenne office location.
