What Weโ€™re Looking For:

The Santรฉ Group is seeking Part-Time Peer Recovery Specialists (overnights) to join our Carroll County Crisis Response Team in Westminster, MD. As a Peer Recovery Specialist, you will provide mobile crisis services, which may include ongoing peer assessments, crisis intervention techniques and stabilization, and developing crisis plans for clients. You will serve as the on-site resource for clinical information and partner with all involved parties, including but not limited to families, friends, and community providers. We are seeking a candidate who can work in-person shifts on Saturdays and Sundays.

What Youโ€™ll Do:

  • Self-identify as a Peer and provide peer support to consumers and families.
  • Assist in performing on-scene assessments, including but not limited to danger, suicide, and environmental assessments.
  • Perform crisis intervention and stabilization, including de-escalation, crisis planning, and implementation.
  • Create appropriate referral recommendations and develop treatment plans using available agency and community resources.
  • Partner with local law enforcement and other community providers.
  • Complete documentation in a thorough and timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as appropriate federal, state, and county regulations.

What We Require:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and at least two (2) years of related experience.
  • Peer Recovery Specialist Certification (CPRS) or willingness to be certified within a one (1) year of employment (Sante will pay for your certification if you do not have it at the time of hire)
  • At least two (2) years in full recovery AND three (3) years of lived experience with mental illness, substance abuse, or a co-occurring disorder.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and proof of current automobile insurance.

What Youโ€™ll Get:

  • Work Schedule:
    • Part time, weekends (Saturday and Sundays)
    • 8:00am to 4:00pm
    • 4:00pm to 12:00am
    • 12:00am to 8:00am (overnight)
    • up to 20% pay differential for working the overnight shift!
  • Salary Range:
    • $20.00 to $22.00 per hour without certification
    • $23.00 to $24.00 per hour once certified
