Job description

The Company

Cerbo · OptiMantra is a healthcare technology company built for the practices actively changing how medicine is delivered. Our platforms serve functional, integrative, direct primary care, concierge, med spa, and behavioral health practitioners who need software that keeps pace with how they work -- not the other way around.

Each platform is a purpose-built EHR and practice management solution. Cerbo is architected for clinical depth: deep configuration, protocol-specific workflows, and the kind of flexibility that holistic and functional medicine practices require. OptiMantra is structured for scale: multi-modality breadth, out-of-the-box readiness, and the operational infrastructure that growing practices rely on.

Together, our two platforms form a leading presence in this rapidly expanding market. Our practitioners are redefining what a patient experience can look like. We exist to give them the technology foundation to do exactly that -- at whatever size and pace they choose to grow.

What You’ll Do

As the Group Product Manager for OptiMantra, you will be the product leader for an entire platform—owning the roadmap, leading a squad of three PMs, and reporting directly to the CPO. This is not a middle-management role. You own the strategy, the team, and the outcomes. Healthcare software is stuck in 2005, and you will help us fix that, fast, with AI at the center. Learn more about OptiMantra here.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead the OptiMantra product squad: mentor, coach, and develop three PMs, holding them accountable to outcomes, not outputs
  • Be the voice of OptiMantra—represent the product line to leadership, engineering, sales, support, and customers with clarity and consistency
  • Own the product strategy and roadmap, working backward from outcomes (retention, activation, revenue, clinical efficiency) and prioritizing strategically
  • Stay hands-on: at our size, you still own product surface directly through discovery, specs, and shipping
  • Set the UX bar—hold the standard for clarity, guided experience, and simplicity across every feature and release
  • Talk to users every week: clinicians, practice managers, and front-desk staff to gather firsthand signal
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, sales, and support; coordinate with the Cerbo Group PM when features span both platforms
  • Drive AI adoption across OptiMantra—AI Scribe is live; intelligent workflows, clinical decision support, and predictive tooling are next
  • Partner with the CPO on product strategy, org design, and long-term product vision

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 10+ years in product management, with at least two years leading a team of PMs
  • EHR/EMR or healthcare software experience strongly encouraged—you should understand clinical workflows, provider pain points, and how healthcare buying decisions work
  • Proven people leader: you have hired, coached, and grown PMs, giving hard feedback with kindness and holding your team to a high bar
  • Exceptional communicator: you write clearly, present persuasively, and tell stories that get cross-functional teams aligned
  • Strategic thinker who operates with urgency—you connect product decisions to business outcomes, make clear tradeoffs, and move fast without cutting corners
  • Highly collaborative: you work naturally across engineering, design, sales, and support, breaking down silos rather than building them
  • Strong UX and UI sensibility—you know what good clinical software looks and feels like
  • Accountable: you own your results, fix what goes wrong, and credit the team when things go right
  • Technically fluent: you hold your own with engineering leadership on architecture, APIs, and platform decisions

Bonus Points

  • Experience with multimodality clinical environments (integrative, IV, MedSpa, behavioral health)
  • Hands-on experience building and shipping AI/ML product features at scale
  • Practice management depth: scheduling, billing, insurance, intake, memberships
  • Experience operating across multiple product lines or platforms that share infrastructure

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive compensation based on experience
  • Paid Time Off and company holidays
  • Comprehensive health, dental and vision benefits
  • Short-term and long-term disability Insurance
  • 401k plan with matching company contribution
  • Real ownership and impact in a fast-growing health tech company

Location: 100% Remote
