Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team at John Community Health Network. Work Environment

This role is designed to be performed remotely, allowing you to work with flexibility while maintaining a work-life balance. You will utilize a variety of telehealth platforms, enabling seamless interaction and service delivery to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop strong therapeutic relationships with patients, establishing a foundation of trust that enables open communication and effective counseling.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately diagnose mental health disorders and create tailored treatment plans based on the unique needs of each patient.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to promote emotional healing and personal growth.
• Continuously monitor patient progress through regular assessments and adjust treatment approaches as necessary, ensuring optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with other health professionals, referring clients to specialists when required to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated on the latest therapeutic practices and trends in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMFT, you will work with a diverse population, including individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clinic is committed to serving all segments of the community, including underserved populations, and aims to make mental health services accessible to everyone in Carson and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated skills in diagnosing and treating mental health disorders, with a proven ability to motivate clients towards recovery.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices for treating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
• A history of working with diverse client populations, particularly in a remote or telehealth setting.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range between USD 70,000 and 90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, we provide:
