We are hiring a Director of Market Access to serve as a trusted client advisor, guiding complex market access and commercialization engagements. This role operates at the center of strategy-shaping how products access the market, how value is communicated, and how clients navigate an increasingly constrained policy and reimbursement environment. You will partner directly with clients to develop and execute market access strategies, while also contributing to the firm's market presence and growth. This is a high-impact role within a small, growing team, requiring deep subject matter expertise in pharmaceutical market access and the ability to operate with both independence and influence.
This is a senior consulting role with significant client-facing and billable responsibilities, balanced with leadership, business development, and firm-building activities. Depending on experience and scope, this role will align to the Director or Senior Director level within our consulting career framework.
The incumbent oversees the development, design, and delivery of market access engagements, supporting client satisfaction and performance across commercial and public payer environments. This role leads work spanning launch and market planning, coverage, coding and policy considerations, pricing and distribution strategy, stakeholder engagement, and sales force effectiveness across Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, PBMs, health systems, and other organized healthcare stakeholders.

Requirements
Experience & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred (MPH, MHA, MBA, MPP, MS Health Economics, or similar).
  • 10+ years of experience in market access, commercialization, consulting, or life sciences
  • Demonstrated success leading complex client engagements
  • Deep understanding of payer dynamics, coverage, and reimbursement
  • Strong communication skills with senior stakeholders
  • Experience managing teams, budgets, and project delivery

Location
Candidates can be based anywhere in the U.S., with a preference for those operating in the Eastern or Central Standard Time Zone. Candidates based in Washington, DC or Austin, TX, will have the option of hybrid work arrangements.
Total Compensation
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. Target Base Salary Range: $140,000 - $200,000. Placement within the range is determined by experience, expertise, and internal equity with consideration for unique qualifications.
Incentive Compensation:
Eligible for an annual performance-based bonus aligned to individual and company performance.
Long-Term Incentives:
Select roles may be eligible for participation in long-term incentives programs tied to company performance and value creation.
