Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Diversicare Health & Rehabilitation Center. This full-time remote position focuses on providing outpatient mental health counseling, with a specialization in mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Work Environment

This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing for a strong work-life balance while maintaining professional responsibilities. Our operational hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening and weekend hours on a rotational basis. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' needs, focusing on the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.
  • Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique goals, preferences, and challenges.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions for mood disorders, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client healing and personal growth.
  • Educate clients and their families on managing mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to enhance their understanding and coping skills.
  • Monitor client progress consistently and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure effective outcomes in therapy.
  • Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure synchronized and integrated patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will focus on individuals facing challenges related to mood disorders, which may include adolescents and adults dealing with depression, anxiety, and other mood-related conditions. The diversity of our clientele requires sensitive and adaptable communication skills to build trust and rapport with patients from various backgrounds.

Qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Nevada.
  • Strong foundational knowledge in psychopharmacology, enabling effective collaboration with psychiatrists on patient medication management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with clients and their families, fostering a supportive therapeutic alliance.
Preferred Experience
