We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Diversicare Health & Rehabilitation Center. This full-time remote position focuses on providing outpatient mental health counseling, with a specialization in mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing for a strong work-life balance while maintaining professional responsibilities. Our operational hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening and weekend hours on a rotational basis. • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' needs, focusing on the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.
• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique goals, preferences, and challenges.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions for mood disorders, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client healing and personal growth.
• Educate clients and their families on managing mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to enhance their understanding and coping skills.
• Monitor client progress consistently and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure effective outcomes in therapy.
• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure synchronized and integrated patient care.
• Stay informed of the latest research and developments related to mood disorders, integrating new knowledge into treatment methodologies.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with legal and organizational standards.
• Engage in routine team meetings and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on best practices within mental health treatment.
• Actively advocate for clients by promoting awareness and understanding of mood disorders, emphasizing the importance of mental health care in society.

Your work will focus on individuals facing challenges related to mood disorders, which may include adolescents and adults dealing with depression, anxiety, and other mood-related conditions. The diversity of our clientele requires sensitive and adaptable communication skills to build trust and rapport with patients from various backgrounds.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Nevada.
• Strong foundational knowledge in psychopharmacology, enabling effective collaboration with psychiatrists on patient medication management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with clients and their families, fostering a supportive therapeutic alliance.

• Two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, specifically focusing on mood disorders.
• Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing evidence-based practices, particularly in CBT and DBT.
• A proven track record of achieving successful patient outcomes in mental health treatment.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus.
