• Conduct initial assessments to understand clients' mental and emotional states, developing thorough insight into their needs.
• Create individualized treatment plans that reflect clients’ unique goals and situations, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Provide therapeutic services including individual and couples therapy sessions, focusing on enhancing communication skills, conflict resolution, and overall relationship health.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, treatment progress, and updated plans to ensure seamless continuity of care.
• Regularly review and adjust treatment strategies based on ongoing assessments and client feedback.
• Engage in crisis intervention, offering support and strategies to clients experiencing acute distress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and professionals when needed to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
• Participate in weekly supervision and team meetings to discuss challenges, share success stories, and stay informed about current best practices.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to remain current with industry trends and advancements in marital and family therapy.
• Advocate for clients, ensuring they feel empowered and equipped to make informed decisions regarding their therapeutic journey.

This position primarily focuses on supporting adolescents, adults, and couples who are navigating various mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and personal development concerns. A deep understanding of family systems and dynamics is essential as we work collaboratively with each client's unique situation to foster resilience and positive change.

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field is required.
• Active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Colorado.
• Demonstrated experience providing therapy to individuals and couples, with a preference for prior work involving family systems.
• Strong analytical skills to complete assessments and documentation in a timely manner.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in electronic health record systems.

• Prior experience working in a remote counseling environment is a plus, demonstrating adaptability to virtual therapy settings.
• Familiarity with specific therapeutic models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Experience navigating the intricacies of family dynamics, particularly in crisis situations or during conflict resolution.
