Fr. Meyer's Sohn (FMS) is seeking an Ocean Freight Sales Manager to drive new business across the U.S./Canada Europe and India Subcontinent (ISC) trade lanes. If you're a motivated sales hunter with freight forwarding experience and a passion for international logistics, this is an outstanding opportunity to grow your career while earning uncapped commissions.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and close new business opportunities for ocean freight services.
  • Sell FCL, LCL, and project cargo solutions to importers, exporters, manufacturers, and shippers.
  • Build long-term relationships with customers, carriers, and strategic partners.
  • Collaborate with pricing and operations teams to deliver competitive logistics solutions.
  • Manage a strong sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Monitor freight rates, carrier capacity, and market trends to identify new opportunities.
  • Represent FMS at customer meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of ocean freight sales, freight forwarding, or logistics business development experience.
  • Proven success generating new business and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of Transatlantic and/or India Subcontinent (ISC) trade lanes.
  • Experience selling international ocean freight, including FCL and LCL services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-driven and comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision.
