This role offers the flexibility of remote work while maintaining a connection to our outpatient office in Ocean City. You will collaborate with fellow mental health professionals and administrative staff, contributing to a culture of teamwork and shared values. Office hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured schedule conducive to work-life balance. • Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients of various backgrounds to identify their unique needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate therapy sessions that address individual, couple, and family dynamics, utilizing evidence-based therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary to ensure therapeutic effectiveness and positive outcomes in line with client goals.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of all client interactions using our secure electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Engage in regular supervision and attend professional development sessions to stay updated on industry best practices and emerging therapeutic techniques.

Your role will involve working with a varied patient population, from individuals facing anxiety and depression to couples navigating relationship challenges and families dealing with communication issues. The ability to adapt your approach based on client feedback and therapeutic progress will be essential for achieving optimal therapeutic outcomes.

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related discipline.
• A current, valid LMFT license in the state of Maryland.
• Solid understanding of various therapeutic modalities and a history of applying evidence-based practices effectively.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating a strong ability to build rapport and cultivate trust with clients.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, particularly in family therapy, counseling, or related fields.
• Experience working in an outpatient environment, with the capacity to manage a diverse caseload.
• A background in providing teletherapy services is a plus, as our remote structure may require virtual client interactions.
