Job description

Are you a sharp, detail-oriented logistics professional looking for a unique, high-impact role with a global leader? We are seeking a Helium Logistics Analyst to join our team in Houston, TX (offering hybrid flexibility) for an exciting 4-to-6-month contract assignment!

In this role, you will be at the heart of our distribution network, balancing strategic planning with hands-on coordination across domestic and international channels. Compensation & Details

  • Pay Range: $29.26 โ€“ $35.52 / hour

  • Duration: 6-Month Contract

  • Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid or Remote flexibility)

  • Hours: 40 hours per week

  • Schedule Structure: Unique "1 week on, 2 weeks off" operational shift:

    • Week 1 (On-Call): Act as the lead scheduler directing drivers and interfacing with customer sites. This includes weekend rotation and evening calls.

    • Weeks 2 & 3 (Support): Shift to standard hours focusing on import/export documentation, fleet inventory management, and process improvement.

Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or Associate Degree.

  • Experience: 2+ years of logistics scheduling experience is required. Working knowledge of DOT and Import/Export regulations is highly preferred.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in software applications, specifically spreadsheets (Excel), databases, and operational systems (Oracle).

  • Soft Skills: solid analytical thinking, stellar organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage tight deadlines while collaborating with diverse global teams.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Road Logistics: Schedule and manage domestic shipments, update distribution schedules, and act as the primary point of contact for regional transfills. Coordinate directly with suppliers and drivers to execute schedules flawlessly.

  • Ocean Logistics: Partner with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and global teams (including Europe and Dubai) to streamline ocean and inland container traffic.

  • Administrative Support: Manage invoicing for product transportation, rentals, and service charges using Excel and Oracle, and document internal SOPs.
