National Sales Manager:

Daisy Data Displays is seeking an experienced National Sales Manager. This position will focus primarily on outside sales in the Oil & Natural Gas Industry; and be responsible for growing our company significantly in the short and long term. Daisy Data Displays is a well-established 40-year-old company that is expanding. As we enter a new phase in modernizing our sales and marketing efforts, we a talented and driven individual who can bridge traditional B2B enterprise sales with new technology and strategies. The right candidate will be compensated with a generous base salary, full benefits, and commissions.

Responsibilities: Grow Sales By:

o Sourcing and identifying new accounts and opportunities in your territory

o Taking ownership of high-value inbound marketing leads

o Strengthening relationships with existing accounts, in order to both promote retention and also identify new areas for growth

ยท Cultivate, nurture, and eventually close deals that may take more than a year in development

ยท Effectively manage independent outside sales reps assisting in your territory

ยท Visit clients on-site and represent Daisy Data Displays at trade shows throughout the country

ยท Coordinate with Engineering department to develop innovative solutions for customers

ยท Utilize our CRM and other sales enablement technology to its fullest, in order to maintain clean and complete data on opportunities and activities

ยท Actively participate in planning/strategy sessions

ยท Maintain regular communication with team and leadership

ยท Maintain an active relationship with a large number of accounts (many that are very large, but make infrequent orders)

ยท Has approximately 7+ years of professional experience and/or is mid-career level

ยท Can network with various departments to connect the entire sales process

ยท Has a background in engineering and/or other industrial sales

ยท Understands navigating long sales cycles and has experience with highly technical sales

ยท Can cultivate strong business relationships with clients and vendors

ยท Has knowledge of hazardous environments and how our products operate in them

ยท Is able to travel extensively (50% or more, plus trade shows, etc.)

ยท Understands the value of teamwork and cross-departmental coordination

ยท Possesses a technical acumen and cares about knowing how products work

ยท Can effectively translate Technology-to-Value with clients at all levels

ยท Appreciates how sales and marketing can work together to amplify results

ยท Thinks strategically about how to approach sales in order to achieve goals

ยท Has a proven track record for opening up new territory

ยท An Associateโ€™s or Bachelorโ€™s degree in a technical field is preferred
