Everyone Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a rewarding, full-time remote position. This role is pivotal in delivering essential mental health and social services to individuals and families grappling with significant life challenges, particularly within a hospice setting. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify their social, emotional, and environmental challenges, tailoring interventions accordingly.
  • Develop individualized service plans in collaboration with clients, outlining specific goals, interventions, and methods for monitoring progress.
  • Provide compassionate counseling and support services to individuals and families navigating difficult circumstances, ensuring their self-advocacy and empowerment.
  • Engage in crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning, employing trauma-informed care principles to ensure clients feel safe and supported.
  • Foster relationships with community agencies and organizations to coordinate resources and advocate on behalf of clients, enhancing their access to needed services.
  • Participate in community outreach initiatives to raise awareness regarding mental health resources and promote the services provided by Everyone Counseling Services.
  • Attend case conferences and team meetings to collaboratively discuss client progress and integrate feedback into your practice.
  • Engage in regular training sessions to remain informed about the latest best practices in social work and mental health support.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary client base includes individuals and families facing terminal illness and end-of-life challenges within a hospice center setting. You will provide care that addresses both the emotional and psychological aspects of terminal illness, supporting clients during one of life's most difficult transitions. This role emphasizes not just the clinical aspects of mental health but also the necessity of compassionate communication and cultural sensitivity in addressing diverse life experiences.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
  • Candidates must hold an active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to demonstrate cultural competence in various client interactions are essential.
  • Understanding of social and economic justice issues, along with experience in trauma-informed care, is strongly preferred.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a social service agency or similar environment, especially with vulnerable populations.
  • Knowledge of hospice and palliative care principles, along with experience in related therapeutic modalities such as CBT or DBT.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 60,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus the potential for a sign-on bonus.
