To thrive in this dynamic role as a member of our Full Time Ground Beef Production team at Caviness Beef Packers, you'll need a range of essential skills and qualities. A solid work history sets the foundation for success, while previous experience in beef processing or a grind facility will be advantageous. Familiarity with operating industrial equipment is preferred, along with the ability to lift up to 80 pounds repeatedly.

Your aptitude for working well under pressure in a fast-paced environment will be vital, as you may be tasked with using various industrial tools and equipment. Embracing food safety and personal safety procedures is non-negotiable, and your commitment to cleanliness and organization in the work area will be crucial. Be prepared to adapt to changing job tasks, minimize downtime, and prioritize safety above all else.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Good work history required
• 6 months experience in beef processing and/or grind facility a plus
• Experience operating industrial equipment preferred
• Ability to lift 80 pounds repetitively
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• May operate a variety of industrial equipment
• May clean up various work areas
• Must follow all food safety and personal safety procedures and requirements
• Must learn to keep up with assigned job tasks and help to minimize downtime
• May use forklifts or other transport equipment to move product
• Must keep work area clean and safe
• Must be able to work in cold environment
• May operate a variety of industrial equipment
