Special Education Coordinator | Full-Time
EDU-AIDS is hiring a Full-Time Special Education Coordinator to join a supportive school district in Akron, OH 44320.
Position Details
  • Position: Special Education Coordinator
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Location: Akron, OH 44320
  • School Year: 2026–2027
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday | School Hours
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee special education programs and services
  • Ensure compliance with IDEA, IEP, and state and federal regulations
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families
  • Facilitate IEP meetings and support student eligibility and placement decisions
  • Provide guidance and support to special education staff
  • Maintain accurate documentation and monitor program effectiveness
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Special Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field
  • Active Ohio Special Education Teaching License or appropriate administrative credential
  • Previous experience in special education and IEP compliance
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
