Job description

At L’Attitude Recruiting, we know mortgage professionals deserve more than just a desk and a pipeline to chase. That’s why we’re partnering with a nationally recognized mortgage team based in Marlton, NJ, built around one simple idea: When Mortgage Loan Officers are supported, they thrive, and so do their clients.

The Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer role isn’t the typical “dial-for-dollars” setup. You’ll step into a system designed to help you close with qualified borrowers every day, with real training, expert backend support, and leadership that understands what it takes to succeed in today’s shifting market. The Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer role is a full-time, remote W-2 role with benefits, high earning potential, and the kind of support that helps you advance professionally.

As a Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer here, you’ll have the freedom to focus on building relationships and closing loans, without hidden costs, empty promises, or unnecessary micromanagement. With rates trending down and homebuyer activity heating up, now is the time to join our Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer team that’s positioned for growth and ready to invest in your success.

What You’ll Do As a Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer:

  • Convert qualified mortgage clients by assisting with loan applications, reviewing loan alternatives, providing loan status updates, and ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Educate borrowers on loan options, rates, and terms

  • Originate loans in your licensed states with diverse product options

  • Collect and verify borrower documentation

  • Partner with processing and underwriting teams to close loans quickly

  • Communicate clearly with clients throughout the loan process

  • Stay current with mortgage guidelines and market trends

What You’ll Bring To The Table:

  • Active NMLS and state MLO license(s) are required for the Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer role
  • At least 1 year of recent mortgage origination or loan officer experience

  • Strong organization and self-motivation

  • Confident working in a remote environment, reliable internet, and computer
  • Excellent communication, follow-up, and digital skills

  • Proficiency in using mortgage industry software and online application platforms
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred

  • Experience in a Direct Lender or similar setting is a plus

What We Offer For Our Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer Team:

  • Full W-2 employment with base pay, uncapped commission, and benefits

  • Remote position with a flexible schedule

  • Exclusive leads (no cold calling or lead purchases)

  • No desk fees, tech fees, or upfront expenses

  • One-on-one coaching and mentorship

  • Experienced processing and underwriting support for faster closings

  • A collaborative, growth-focused culture with opportunities for advancement
