The Opportunity
PropertyRadar is moving into a new growth motion in the mortgage segment. The next chapter will not be won one trial at a time - it will be won by going where mortgage professionals already are: inside the wholesale lenders, LOS and CRM ecosystems, branch networks, coaching communities, and influencer audiences that already serve mortgage.
The Strategic Growth Manager (SGM) for Mortgage exists to build that channel. Your job is to identify, open, and develop the partnerships that put PropertyRadar in front of large concentrations of qualified mortgage buyers - and to displace the affiliate relationships currently powering our competitors.
Why Detroit
This role is based in the Detroit metro area, and that's not arbitrary. Detroit is the geographic center of the U.S. wholesale mortgage industry. UWM - one of our most important existing partners - is here. So are the broker shops, IMBs, and mortgage tech companies that define our target list. Being on the ground in Pontiac/Troy/Auburn Hills means you can show up in person at the partnerships that matter.
Remote candidates outside the Detroit area will not be considered.
What You'll Own
Strategic Outbound
  • Build and maintain a target list of mortgage partnerships, large enterprise affiliates, and competitor affiliates, agreed jointly with the Director of Segment Growth - Mortgage.
  • Run outbound across email, social, and direct call outreach to open conversations and tee up discovery.
  • Hand off qualified discovery to the Director in the early innings; over time, own the middle of the funnel directly.

Partner Activation
  • Co-host webinars, live sessions, and joint events with major mortgage partners to convert their audience into qualified PropertyRadar trials.
  • Run cold email and sequenced outreach into partner client and audience bases (MLO rosters, broker partner lists, branch directories), in coordination with the partner.

Pipeline Development
  • As you build reps, take ownership of mid-tier partnership deal flow end-to-end.
  • Maintain clean records of partner stage, expected reach, projected impact, and close timing inside our CRM and partner tracking.

What We're Looking For
  • Mortgage industry credibility. You've worked inside or alongside the mortgage industry - as an AE at a wholesale lender, a partnership rep at a mortgage tech company, an MLO who pivoted to business development, or a similar role. You can hold a conversation with a branch manager or wholesale AE without faking it.
  • Outbound discipline. You're comfortable building lists, sending sequences, opening cold conversations, and tracking pipeline. You don't need to be told to follow up.
  • On-camera presence. You can show up on webinars, partner calls, and Loom walk-throughs as a credible PropertyRadar voice.
  • Strategic judgment. You can tell the difference between a partnership worth six months of effort and one that's a vanity logo.
  • Detroit-based. You live in the Detroit metro area today, or you'll be there within 60 days of start.
  • Willingness to travel. Occasional travel for new Strategic Accounts as they come on. Local partnerships are accessible without travel - a real advantage of the role.

Nice to Have
  • Direct experience at a wholesale lender (UWM, Rocket Pro TPO, Kind Lending, Newrez, etc.) or a mortgage technology company (LOS, CRM, POS).
  • Existing relationships with mortgage coaches, trainers, or influencer networks.
  • Familiarity with outbound tooling like Apollo, Instantly.ai, Hunter.io, or similar.
  • Comfort with property data, public records, or real estate technology.

How the Role Works in Practice
You and our Director of Segment Growth - Mortgage, agree on the target account list together. You run the outbound motion against that list. When a target engages, the early discovery conversations are co-led with the Director of Segment Growth - both for senior weight and to compress your ramp. As you build reps, you take more of the deal flow directly.
When a partnership closes - whether you close it solo, the Director closes it solo, or it closes as a joint effort - you are paid commission on the revenue produced for the following twelve months. Strategic partnerships are a team motion in the early innings, and the comp plan rewards that.
