Mortgage Loan Originators

STANDARD MORTGAGE - NMLS #1588683.ย Loan Originators work with clients located in Florida, who are looking to either purchase or refinance their home. Loan Originators are responsible for building rapport, analyzing the borrower's financial situation, and determining the appropriate products to meet our client's needs. It is expected that you take the initiative to generate your own client base and/or work leads provided by in-house real estate professionals. In addition to communicating daily with the owner, Loan Originators must stay abreast of new types of loans, guideline changes and other financial products to meet the customer's needs and maintain compliance. They must also resolve issues/difficulties across multiple departments while maintaining a high level of service to internal and external customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • After determining the best product for the client, our Loan Originators will lock the loan at the point of sale, request initial documents, and submit a preliminary paperless loan package without having to process the loan.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • NMLS SAFE ACT compliant, holding an active Florida MLO license.
  • Connects very quickly to clients via phone presentation; builds and maintains client relationships.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
  • Excellent follow-up and communication skills with borrowers, internal partners, and teammates.
