As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will play a vital role in our clinical team, responsible for assessing and treating individuals and families facing a wide range of challenges. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual and couples therapy sessions in a remote setting, with an emphasis on comprehensive family therapy.
• Assessing clients’ issues and creating effective treatment plans tailored to meet their unique needs.
• Addressing complex issues such as conflicts among family members, grief and loss, blended family dynamics, and communication challenges.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to support positive behavioral changes.
• Maintaining accurate client records and progress notes in compliance with relevant regulations and organizational standards.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and integrate the best care practices.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client population, including couples, families, and individuals of all ages. The clients may present with a variety of issues, including but not limited to:

• Alcohol and substance abuse issues.
• Exposure to physical and psychological trauma.
• Grief and loss related to life transitions.
• Separation, divorce, and the adjustments that accompany these changes.
• Interpersonal conflicts, including mother-daughter dynamics and sibling rivalries.
• Challenges associated with blending families after remarriage.

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Possession of a valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a similar setting.

While not mandatory, the following experiences and attributes are considered a plus:

• Experience working with child and adolescent populations.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapy delivery.
• Proficiency in utilizing various therapeutic modalities and techniques.
• A strong commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
