Your day-to-day responsibilities as an LMFT at Mind Intervention Counseling Center will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand clients' unique mental health needs, thus forming the foundation for tailored treatment plans.
• Delivering individual therapy sessions using personalized strategies that promote emotional well-being and personal development.
• Collaborating with clients to establish therapeutic goals and regularly tracking their progress to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
• Providing teletherapy services for clients who may prefer or require virtual sessions, ensuring accessibility and comfort.
• Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation of each session to uphold ethical standards and facilitate continuity of care.
• Engaging in continuous professional development to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on the latest mental health trends and techniques.

Our clientele encompasses a diverse range of individuals, including those facing issues related to addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma, and family dynamics. • Must possess an active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field is required.

• A deep understanding of empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients' experiences are essential for success in this role.
• Strong organizational and time management skills are necessary to effectively manage your caseload and administrative responsibilities.

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in addiction treatment or specialized training in trauma-informed care will be given preference. Experience with group therapy facilitation and familiarity with treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) will also be considered assets.
