• Establish and maintain trusting relationships with clients through effective communication and empathy, allowing them to feel safe and understood during their therapy sessions.
• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose and treat various mental health disorders, developing tailored treatment plans that address individual client needs.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices that promote healing and growth.
• Regularly evaluate client progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and specialists as needed, providing referrals and integrated care to support comprehensive treatment.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes to comply with regulatory standards.
• Participate in regular team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and stay informed of industry best practices.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Farmout Care Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, and families facing various mental health challenges. You will address issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, and substance abuse. • Valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.
• Master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and proven therapeutic techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate clients towards their goals.

• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling and familiarity with evidence-based practices for co-occurring disorders.
• Experience working in teletherapy or remote settings is highly desirable.
• Prior experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a healthcare environment.
