Job description

The Manager Financial Reporting has a direct reporting relationship with the Executive Director/Director of Finance and is responsible for the coordination and management of financial reporting for all entities under company 10. This includes financial analysis, monitoring organizational performance, benchmarking functional/service line operations and managing the budget process. Also manages the day-to-day processes within the Financial Reporting department to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of all reports, including processes to monitor and improve internal controls. Manager provides analysis and support to administration, develops analytical tools and reports for departments and interprets data for all levels of the Communitys operations. Manager is responsible for recommending work simplification to insure coordination and eliminate unnecessary or duplication of efforts within the areas of responsibility. Must be able to work well with other finance professionals and administrative leaders. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.Position Details:

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience:

1. Seven years increasingly responsible financial management experience.

2. Minimum two years recent experience in a financial management position with responsibility for general accounting and cash management.

Other:

1. Strong analytical and reasoning abilities

.2. Excellent oral/written communications and presentation skills.

3. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.


Preferred Education: Master's Degree in related field.
Preferred Experience: 1. Public accounting experience.2. Healthcare experience a plus.
Preferred Certifications: CPA designation
