  • BENEFITS: YES
  • PAY: Springfield is up to $26-27 an hour, North Chicago is up to 28.50 depending on experience
  • SCHEDULE: Remote when not travelling 4-5 days (local travel)
  • DURATION: 9 month contract with potential for extension

Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to support the launch of a new delivery program in the region. In this role, you will recruit and onboard local businesses into the Delivery Partner program. You’ll work closely with a Field Manager and other team members to prospect, engage, and convert qualified businesses while building strong community relationships.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct door-to-door outreach to prospective businesses in targeted markets (up to a 2-hour driving radius)
  • Present and promote the program to generate interest and drive applications
  • Qualify businesses and guide them through the application and vetting process
  • Track lead activity and manage pipeline within Salesforce
  • Support planning and execution of local recruitment events (e.g., lunch-and-learns, town halls, networking events)
  • Collaborate with community partners (Chambers of Commerce, economic development groups, etc.)
  • Import and maintain lead data in Salesforce (including weekly Excel uploads)

Work Environment

  • Territory:
    • Springfield, IL or North Chicago, IL
  • Field-based role:
    • 4–5 days on the road
    • Remaining days work from home

MUST HAVES:

  • 1–2+ years of sales and/or customer service experience
  • Outside/field sales experience required
  • CRM experience required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of professionalism, urgency, and enthusiasm for working with others
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to navigate multiple systems
  • Ability to travel up to 4 hours round trip daily

NICE TO HAVES:

  • Salesforce preferred
  • Experience with sales, negotiation, or customer-facing roles is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

  • Uncapped commission structure:
    • $75 per partner application
    • $150 when partner is “Ready to Launch”
    • $125 after launch + 4 weeks
  • $50/month phone stipend
  • $72.5 per mile reimbursement
  • Eligible for 2 weeks PTO after successful 6-month performance review
