• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy strategies tailored to the unique needs and circumstances of clients.
• Deliver therapeutic services to a wide array of populations, including individuals, couples, and families, employing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Maintain accurate client documentation and clinical records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards in the field of mental health.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to create comprehensive care plans that address the overall well-being of clients.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training sessions to stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed to clients experiencing acute mental health challenges.

Our LPC will work with a diverse population, including individuals from various socioeconomic backgrounds, ethnicities, and age groups. Many clients may have experienced significant barriers in accessing mental health services, making it imperative for our counselors to demonstrate cultural competency and empathy. Clients may present with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship challenges, requiring a tailored and thoughtful approach to care.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of therapeutic techniques and strategies.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards relevant to mental health practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients from varied backgrounds.
• Proficiency in managing electronic medical records (EMR) software and related technologies essential for documentation and communication.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse treatment is highly desirable.
• A familiarity with contemporary practices in mental health, including telehealth services, is advantageous.

• The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and client caseload.
