Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will have the following key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand clients’ mental health needs and collaboratively design effective treatment plans.
• Provide individualized therapy sessions using tailored techniques to enhance emotional growth and psychological well-being.
• Set therapeutic goals in partnership with clients and regularly monitor their progress to ensure effective outcomes.
• Utilize teletherapy solutions for clients unable to participate in in-person sessions due to mobility issues or preference for virtual care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation to adhere to ethical standards and enhance the quality of care provided.
• Engage in continued professional education and training to advance your clinical skills and stay informed on emerging trends in the field of mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice caters to a diverse population, including clients dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and other mental health concerns. You will work with individuals, couples, and families, tailoring approaches to meet unique needs. Your role is critical in assisting clients in navigating their challenges and guiding them toward sustainable recovery and emotional wellness.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Possess a current, valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills necessary for building trusting relationships with clients.
• Show empathy, understanding, and a nonjudgmental approach in client interactions.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and time management abilities to effectively manage a varied caseload.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in private practice or specialized training in areas such as addiction treatment or family therapy may be given preference. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and tools will also be advantageous in adapting to our modern therapeutic approach.

Compensation and Benefits
