• Implement comprehensive treatment plans under clinical supervision, ensuring each client receives tailored interventions.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, incident reports, attendance records, and discharge summaries, adhering to all regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate and lead consumer groups, creating an inclusive atmosphere for sharing experiences and fostering recovery.
• Conduct individual meetings with clients, their families, and relevant stakeholders to ensure holistic treatment planning and support.
• Assist clients with referrals to community-based resources and social services, advocating for their needs with local organizations.
• Engage with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive service plans and follow up on client progress.
• Promote organizational activities by partnering with volunteers and interns to enhance client engagement.
• Establish professional networks with potential referral sources to ensure a steady intake of new clients.
• Uphold strict confidentiality and integrity standards, adhering to the Code of Ethics of the United States Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association at all times.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to maintaining ongoing compliance with JCAHO, Medicaid, and DBH standards.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and actively monitor and document client progress throughout their treatment journey.

Your role as a Senior Licensed Mental Health Counselor will focus predominantly on individuals experiencing perinatal mental health challenges, alongside a broader range of clients seeking support in emotional and behavioral health. You will work collaboratively with clients in various settings, ensuring a supportive atmosphere where they can openly discuss their concerns and work towards recovery.

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Active social work license (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) in accordance with state regulations.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying ideas clearly and listening to feedback.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams within an outpatient mental health framework.
• No history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a third-party review.

• Experience working in a therapeutic setting with a focus on perinatal mental health is highly desirable.
• Past engagement in community outreach or advocacy work.
• Familiarity with JCAHO and Medicaid standards of care.
