The role of a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor offers unmatched flexibility as you work from home in Yakima, Washington. • Conduct virtual counseling sessions with clients, addressing a range of emotional challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
• Facilitate therapeutic conversations that encourage insights leading to personal growth and self-improvement.
• Assist clients in setting specific, measurable therapeutic goals and provide ongoing support to help them achieve these objectives.
• Utilize your clinical expertise and evidence-based practices to develop customized, solution-focused treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.
• Document client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in a timely manner using our integrated digital health platform.
• Participate in regular team meetings and professional development workshops to enhance your skills and stay informed about best practices in mental health care.

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Breaking Free Wellness & Services, you will serve a diverse client population, including adults, adolescents, and families facing a variety of mental health concerns. Your ability to tailor your approach to meet the unique backgrounds and needs of each client will foster trust and promote positive therapeutic outcomes.

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to client-centered care.
• Proficiency in using digital tools and technologies to facilitate virtual sessions and manage client information.

• At least two years of clinical experience in a counseling or therapeutic role.
• Experience conducting teletherapy or virtual counseling sessions.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and interventions.
• Experience working in community health settings or with diverse populations is a plus.

The salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a competitive benefits package that includes:
