As a Manufacturing Engineer specializing in conveyor and facilities feasibility, you will play a key role in shaping the future of advanced manufacturing by designing innovative conveyor systems that bring final assembly operations to life. Partnering with manufacturing leaders, product engineers, plant teams, and suppliers, you will solve complex production challenges and transform ideas into scalable, high-impact solutions. Leveraging AutoCAD and advanced engineering methodologies, you will develop efficient conveyance systems and facility layouts that optimize throughput, enhance ergonomics, and improve operational performance. You'll Have...

  • Bachelors / Masters degree, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience. 
  • Min 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing. 

  • Strong written and communication skills 

  • AutoCAD and Teamcenter proficiency

This position is a salary grade 6 and ranges from $74,300-$124,500. 

This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $86,600-$144,900. 

This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $99,100-$166,200.  


Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.

What you'll do...

  • Designing efficient conveyance systems and layouts in AutoCAD 
  • Performing detailed feasibility studies, simulations, and analyses to evaluate proposed designs and process changes, including assessing technical viability, cost-effectiveness, and potential risks.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, product engineers, the plant teams and suppliers, to define technical specifications and integrate conveyor systems seamlessly into the final assembly line.
  • Optimizing existing conveyor layouts and processes to enhance throughput, improve ergonomics, and reduce operational costs.
  • Ensuring all conveyor system designs and implementations comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and internal specifications.
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from concept generation to installation and prove-out of new systems.
  • Adding costs into GMOD for forward model programs for conveyance and facilities 
  • Ensure tier 1 suppliers are compliant to GVOSS with conveyance and tooling designs 
  • Lead onsite activities such as field reviews and plant alignment meetings
