About The Role
The Business Development Partner is responsible for driving new consignor acquisition by growing TRR brand awareness, customer loyalty and community footprint at the local level. Your primary role involves executing localized partnerships, marketing campaigns, experiential/ revenue focused events and external community outreach for your market area.

  • Foster partnerships with brand- relevant local businesses, philanthropic organizations and community influencers to generate new consignors
  • Plan and execute events in the community that drive the supply of consigned goods and increase brand awareness
  • Leverage social platforms to build awareness of brand and mission on a local level; research and identify topics that will appeal to our target consignor base and generate engagement
  • Optimize brand perception through quality execution of events and partnerships
  • Manage a quarterly budget and ensure ROI/ revenue goals for market are achieved
  • Leverage the retail team as applicable in the outreach process to build excitement and support for upcoming events by educating the team on the organization or cause and the opportunity for impact
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices

What You Bring To The Role
MInimum Requirements:
  • EXTERNAL: 5+ years' direct experience in business development, grassroots marketing, community outreach, or a related field
  • INTERNAL: Located in or willing to relocate to the physical territory (At Home first role) of the geographically assigned market
  • INTERNAL: Currently in an individual contributor, Concierge role with a New Consignor goal (LM or SMLM) for at least 1+ years
  • INTERNAL: Hit or exceed both unit quota and New Consignor goal for past 1+ years
  • INTERNAL: Note: Internal transfers will not be able to keep their VIPs or book of business (not required for the role)
  • Strategic networking skills with the ability to develop, execute, and critically analyze a local marketing plan
  • Proven track record for effectively pitching new partnership & event concepts
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of how local marketing can positively impact our supply GMV
  • Superior planning, communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage a flexible work schedule to maximize contribution and impact; Ability to work weekends and evenings as necessary to support area events
  • Ability to excel with autonomy in an ambiguous environment
  • Strategic planning skills with ability to understand the big picture while organizing and executing on detailed level

The expected salary range for this role is $100,000.00-$112,000.00. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate's skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR's total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
The expected On-Target Earnings range for this role is $125,000.00-$140,000.00. To determine on-target earnings, the range includes both base salary and target incentive compensation. Target incentive compensation for some roles may include a ramping period. Compensation is higher for those who exceed targets.
