Duties
Help

• You will conduct supportability assessments, establish integrated product support requirements, and develop sustainment documentation that improves system readiness while reducing risk during transition to operational use.
• You will analyze logistics requirements, identify support risks, recommend corrective actions, and coordinate with stakeholders to develop transition strategies that strengthen product support throughout the acquisition process.
• You will develop commodity specific processes, tools, and training, evaluate emerging government and industry practices, and recommend improvements that enhance long term sustainment and operational performance.
• You will represent the organization on boards, committees, and working groups, prepare and deliver clear written and oral presentations, and collaborate with leadership to resolve complex logistics and support challenges.
• You will evaluate acquisition pathways, develop transition strategies for production and fielding, and apply engineering readiness principles to improve technology maturity, manufacturing capability, and system integration success.
• You will coordinate with program offices and technical organizations to ensure logistics resources are available, support implementation planning, and oversee activities that improve supportability across major programs and policy changes.

• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Must be knowledgeable of Technical Data Management CATALYST database
Must be knowledgeable of Expeditionary Advanced Based Operations (EABO)
Must be knowledgeable of Naval Logistics Integration (NLI)
