About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Maritime Logistics Scheduler to join a respected global maritime organization. This role is ideal for a candidate who excels at coordinating schedules, managing multiple priorities, and ensuring operational activities are completed accurately and on time.

The Maritime Logistics Scheduler will play a critical role in coordinating vessel inspections, audits, and compliance-related activities while serving as a central point of communication between clients, vessel owners, auditors, and regulatory stakeholders. Success in this position requires strong scheduling, logistics coordination, communication, and organizational skills.

Candidates with experience in logistics, transportation, operations, fleet administration, compliance coordination, project coordination, or maritime operations are encouraged to apply.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule vessel inspections, audits, certifications, and related compliance activities.
  • Manage multiple schedules, deadlines, and stakeholder requests simultaneously.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, vessel owners, auditors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Track inspection findings, deficiencies, and corrective actions to ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of inspection reports, certifications, audit documentation, and compliance files.
  • Monitor upcoming deadlines and ensure all required audits and inspections are completed on schedule.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to auditors and inspection personnel.
  • Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders regarding scheduling updates, compliance requirements, and audit status.
  • Assist with reporting, documentation management, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Support ongoing compliance efforts and ensure operational activities align with regulatory requirements.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, operations, compliance, scheduling, project coordination, fleet administration, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple schedules, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders and departments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
  • Experience maintaining records, tracking deadlines, and managing documentation.
  • Maritime, shipping, fleet operations, transportation, or regulatory compliance experience is a plus but not required.
