Precise is currently looking for a Server/Cloud Administrator to maintain Microsoft-based web applications and Microsoft SQL Server databases on Virtual Machines in multiple hosting environments. This position requires availability aligned with the Pacific Time Zone with a workday from 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM.

This position may allow for remote work; however, employees must be able and willing to travel and provide in-office or on-site support as required by customer requirements, project demands, or business needs. Duties: * Perform deployments of software releases and data updates to Microsoft Windows servers. * Assist in the server administration of Microsoft Windows-based 2019+ servers in a DoD hosting environment.

* Manage Microsoft SQL Server databases. * Troubleshoot, and assist in the resolution of system problems and issues in multiple hosting environments. * Coordinate with cloud and information assurance personnel to perform software updates, system changes, and security testing and scans.

* Interact with a help desk team, cloud hosting technical teams, and developers to assist with problem-solving. * Administer policies and standards related to security and technical implementation guidance following government guidelines and requirements. * Maintain system documentation.

* Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned. Required Experience: * At least three (3) years of experience with Windows Server administration. * CompTIA Security +, or similar IAT Level II certification.

* Windows OS or Azure Cloud certification. Required Education : * BA/BS degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, business, or information systems or related field. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: * A) An AS or AA degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, business, or information systems and three (3) years of overall experience plus the amount of detailed experience that matches the experience/training requirement for this position may be substituted for a BS or BA degree; OR * B) Eight (8) years of overall experiences plus the amount of detailed experience that matches the experience/training requirement for this position may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.

Desired Experience: * Experience with Azure cloud administration. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 (annualized USD).

This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems' total compensation package.
