LocationST. LOUIS, MO 63110 Scheduled Hours40Position SummaryWashington University Regional Physicians
Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) at Washington University School of Medicine seeks a dedicated remote overnight radiologist to join our Community Division (TeleMIR). You will provide teleradiology coverage overnight (11PM-7AM CT) for BJC-affiliated hospitals across Illinois, including Memorial Hospital Belleville and Memorial Hospital Shiloh. The schedule is 1 week on / 2 weeks off, offering significant work-life balance. TeleMIR is MIR's emergency teleradiology service providing overnight coverage for community hospitals.
Schedule & Compensation
Schedule: 7 consecutive nights on, 14 nights off (approx. 17 weeks/year)
Hours: 11:00PM-7:00AM CT
Salary: $500,000-$700,000/year (commensurate with experience)
Your work will be a minimum 80% of your subspeciality
Supplemental income:

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients, ensuring evidence-based and compassionate clinical management.
  • Coordinates with nurses, advanced practitioners, specialists, case managers, and ancillary staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Records all patient encounters, orders, and follow-up information accurately in EPIC to meet WashU Medicine and regulatory standards.
  • Maintains active licensure and privileges, complies with WashU Medicine policies, and upholds ethical, regulatory, and confidentiality requirements.
