SharePoint Specialist
Level: Journeyman | Work Location: Remote
This position is contingent upon contract award.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Red Carrot is seeking a Journeyman SharePoint Specialist to support the customer's External Affairs front office operations. This role is critical to building, managing, and optimizing SharePoint infrastructure that enables the customer's communications workflows.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, develop, and manage SharePoint sites, workflows, lists, libraries, and permissions for the customer's External Affairs office
  • Develop workflows and databases in SharePoint to facilitate External Affairs processes and coordination requirements
  • Manage content libraries including content management and permissions to facilitate access to communications products and tools
  • Monitor shared email boxes and a SharePoint-based task management system for tasking; log and track requests per established SOPs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint-related issues including user access, performance, and integration problems
  • Conduct studies and evaluation of screen prototypes for functionality, ease of use, efficiency, and accuracy
  • Support records management, archiving, and document coordination across the agency
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience designing, developing, and managing SharePoint sites, workflows, lists, libraries, and permissions
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint-related issues including user access, performance, and integration problems
  • Understanding of SharePoint security, governance, and compliance policies
  • Knowledge of Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI for process automation and data visualization
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SharePoint Framework (SPFx) for customization and development
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, and Microsoft Teams integration
  • Familiarity with SQL Server, Microsoft PowerShell, and Active Directory for SharePoint administration
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to obtain the required government Fitness Determination
