The salary for this full-time role ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 per year, plus performance bonuses.

About the Organization

Branches of Growth Psychotherapy LLC is an innovative online platform designed to support individuals seeking a better relationship with alcohol. Our mission is to provide affordable, accessible, and research-based care that is both effective and compassionate. We offer members a safe space to connect through anonymous community interactions, therapist-led support groups, and a curated library of resources tailored to their needs. By fostering a culture of empathy and understanding, we aim to ensure that every individual receives the personalized treatment they deserve, guided by experienced and licensed professionals.

Work Environment

At Branches of Growth, our counselors operate in a fully remote setting, providing you with the freedom to manage your schedule and work from the comfort of your chosen location. Our supportive online community allows for collaborative interactions with fellow professionals while providing the necessary resources to enhance your practice. We emphasize a reduction in administrative burdens, allowing you to focus primarily on client care. Our back-end team handles billing and paperwork, simplifying your daily workflow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients seeking support with alcohol-related issues.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing to facilitate client progress.
  • Provide telehealth therapy sessions to clients, accommodating their unique needs and preferences.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule, allowing clients to choose appointment times that work for them.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision and peer review meetings to enhance personal and collective practices.
  • Encourage and educate clients about community recovery support options, including Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Smart Recovery, and Moderation Management.
  • Network with community resources to develop a well-rounded care strategy for each client.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will engage with diverse clients, many of whom are seeking to modify their drinking habits and improve their overall well-being. Our clientele spans various demographics, all united by a common goal of achieving a healthier relationship with alcohol, whether through moderation or abstinence. Your role will include addressing various mental health concerns, tailoring your therapeutic approach to reflect the individual goals and needs of each client.

Qualifications
  • Must hold a valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is required; advanced degrees are preferred.
  • Demonstrable training and experience in CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care.
  • Strong clinical engagement skills, with the ability to empathize and connect with clients effectively.
  • Understanding of the harm-reduction model is essential, as it guides client discussions around treatment goals.
  • Proficient in leveraging community recovery resources in conjunction with therapy sessions.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in virtual counseling or teletherapy is highly preferred due to the remote nature of our practice.
  • Experience leading support groups or facilitating workshops is a plus.
  • Prior experience with substance use disorders and addiction treatment is strongly desired.
Compensation and Benefits

We recognize the importance of investing in our professionals. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plan contributions, and generous paid time off, along with reimbursement for continuing education units (CEUs).
