Work Environment

As a licensed mental health therapist at Impact Learning & Development, you will work in a fully remote telehealth environment, providing therapy via video conferencing platforms. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health status and needs to develop individualized treatment plans that are tailored to meet each client's unique challenges.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches to support clients in their journey towards improved mental health.
  • Provide specialized guidance for clients dealing with conditions such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, and substance abuse, ensuring that vulnerable populations receive the appropriate care and resources.
  • Maintain comprehensive and professional documentation of therapy sessions, treatment progress, and outcomes in accordance with ethical standards and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals as needed to ensure a well-rounded approach to client care, participating in case discussions and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on diverse adult populations, including those struggling with a range of mental health issues such as anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, and behavioral challenges. You will engage with clients from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, requiring a culturally competent and sensitive approach tailored to individual needs.

Qualifications
  • A valid Master’s degree in a behavioral health field such as social work, counseling, or psychology.
  • An active and unrestricted license in California as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
  • Demonstrated experience, preferably two years or more, in providing therapeutic support, assessing client needs, and creating successful treatment plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential for documenting progress, collaborating with colleagues, and interacting with clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Training or certification in evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), or other relevant frameworks.
