Position Overview

Together & Strong Counseling is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team. This full-time remote position is ideal for professionals committed to empowering families with young children who have developmental delays or disabilities. In this role, you will actively contribute to enhancing the well-being of children and their families through effective intervention strategies and support.

Work Environment

This position operates within a remote setting, providing flexibility and the benefit of working from home. However, you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, which may include early intervention specialists, educators, and healthcare professionals. We serve a hospice center that focuses on infants and toddlers, offering a supportive work culture that values open communication, collaboration, and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify the unique needs of each child under your care.
  • Participate actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), ensuring tailored and effective interventions for families.
  • Monitor and assess the progress of children and families regularly, providing necessary adjustments to intervention strategies as needed.
  • Act as a supportive resource for families by offering guidance, information, and emotional support to promote optimal child development.
  • Adhere to all Federal and State regulations to ensure compliance and the highest standard of care.
  • Build trusting relationships with children, parents, and team members to foster a collaborative and positive environment.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices in line with Natural Learning Environment Practices to enhance intervention strategies.
  • Recommend service frequency based on child development stages and family concerns, providing flexible planning that prioritizes the family's needs.
  • Employ a coaching model for family engagement and utilize natural environment teaching to enrich learning experiences.
  • Always ensure that your practices comply with established health and safety standards for both staff and clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on infants and toddlers with disabilities or developmental delays, as well as their families. Our commitment extends to ensuring that each child receives tailored support to develop essential skills in physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication areas. As a licensed clinical social worker, you will play a vital role in helping families navigate the challenges faced during these formative years.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the Department of Public Health, with a valid driver's license.
