Our flexible scheduling allows for a Monday to Friday workweek from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts and rotating weekend coverage to ensure comprehensive service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed mental health assessments for students, gathering critical information about their personal histories, symptoms, and any risk factors influencing their emotional well-being.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans in partnership with students, focusing on promoting emotional resilience and successful integration into the school environment.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed therapy, to address various mental health challenges.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing students' coping strategies, personal insight, and growth.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, utilizing de-escalation techniques and determining the need for higher levels of care when necessary.
  • Engage in psychoeducational activities with students and their families, equipping them with knowledge about mental health conditions and available support resources.
  • Maintain compliant documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in alignment with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
  • Must possess a current and valid LCSW licensure in Kansas.
