• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's psychological well-being, leading to tailored treatment strategies.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique needs of each patient, maintaining a focus on the latest evidence-based therapies.
• Provide a range of therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy in both individual and group settings to address various emotional and behavioral concerns.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions aimed at fostering community support and enhancing coping skills among participants.
• Work closely with psychiatrists and various healthcare professionals to ensure a well-rounded approach to patient care, focusing on integrated health methodologies.
• Manage crisis situations with a calm demeanour, providing immediate support during mental health emergencies.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and local community resources available for additional support.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant with legal and ethical standards, maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Engage in professional development activities, including participating in case conferences and team meetings to continually update your knowledge and skills.

You will work primarily with adults facing various mental health conditions, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, and personality disorders. Your efforts will directly influence the emotional and psychological well-being of these individuals, guiding them toward healthier coping mechanisms and improved overall quality of life.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LCPC, or LCMFT in Kansas, affirming your competency to practice independently.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, preferably in a similar mental health counseling role.
• Thorough understanding of various mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and trauma-informed care practices.
• Ability to deliver both individual and group therapy effectively, utilizing a range of therapeutic approaches.
• Strong skills in crisis intervention and crisis management, notably the capacity to maintain composure under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, promoting the establishment of supportive therapeutic relationships with patients.
• Proficiency in electronic health records systems and familiarity with digital communication platforms utilized in remote therapy.
• A collaborative spirit that fosters teamwork while adhering to professional boundaries and ethical standards.

Experience in specialized areas such as trauma therapy, addiction counseling, or working with marginalized populations is highly desirable. Familiarity with innovative therapeutic techniques and an openness to continuous learning will enhance your contributions to our practice.

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 75,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
