Self Care Learning Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our growing team. • Establish and maintain a positive, trusting rapport with clients, using empathy and active listening skills.
• Diagnose and treat a variety of mental health disorders, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that are informed by ongoing assessments of each client's needs and progress.
• Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions, facilitating discussions that encourage healing and growth.
• Regularly meet with clients to provide care, adjust treatment plans based on their progress, and offer continuous support.
• Collaborate with referring specialists and other healthcare providers to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

The LMFT will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and life transitions. This role is essential in understanding the unique cultural, social, and economic factors affecting our patients, ensuring that therapeutic interventions are approached with sensitivity and responsiveness.

• Active state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist is required.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is mandatory.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively balance caseloads and administrative duties.
• Commitment to ethical practice and an understanding of confidentiality in clinical settings.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy, particularly in a remote setting, is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems for documentation and patient management.
• Previous work in community health settings or similar environments is a plus.
