Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Self Care Learning Counseling Center, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Establishing and maintaining a positive and trusting rapport with patients through regular communication and empathy.
• Diagnosing and treating mental health disorders, leveraging your clinical expertise to create effective, personalized treatment plans.
• Leading therapeutic sessions for individuals, families, and groups, utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to client needs.
• Conducting ongoing assessments of patient progress, modifying treatment approaches based on evolving circumstances.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to enhance care, making referrals to specialists and community resources as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family dynamics, and trauma. Your role will involve addressing various mental health disorders while integrating family systems theories and interventions into your practice. Our clinic focuses on promoting resilience and facilitating healing through trauma-informed care, ensuring that every client feels heard, respected, and cared for.

Qualifications

• Active State Licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is essential.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to effectively balance a diverse client caseload and administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
