• Group Therapy: Lead dynamic group sessions that encourage sharing and support among clients, helping them feel understood and less isolated.
• Individual Therapy: Provide personalized counseling through empathetic conversations, guiding clients to explore their feelings and develop actionable coping strategies.
• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to establish tailored treatment plans that cater to their unique needs and goals, incorporating their feedback actively.
• Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and document client progress using established assessment tools, ensuring they meet their therapeutic goals and modifying plans as necessary.
• Collaboration: Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of professionals, maintaining open communication to ensure comprehensive care and effective treatment approaches.

Great Lake Behavioral Center primarily serves young adults aged 18 to 30 who are navigating various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and trauma. Your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor will involve meeting clients where they are in their journey, providing them with the support and skills necessary to foster healing and empowerment.

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• A valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• Strong skills in crisis intervention, therapeutic techniques, and evidence-based practices.

• Experience working with young adult populations in a counseling or clinical setting.
• Proficiency in utilizing therapy software and virtual communication platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage treatment plans and client documentation.

This full-time position comes with a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and education. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
