The Renter Solutions department has an exciting opportunity for a IT Lead Business Analyst. The Renter Solutions department is responsible for the retention and maintenance of driver and loyalty profile information for Enterprise Mobility customers, and making this data securely available to other services, solutions, and third-party vendors.Renter Solutions applications are critical to the rental booking and fulfillment processes across our operations globally. We work closely with our business stakeholders from around the globe, for all of our brands, to make enhancements to our applications and to stay ahead in our ever-evolving global operations. This is an exciting time to join the Renter Solutions team as our roadmap includes API evolution and modernization of our driver and loyalty programs, in addition to supporting business capabilities around core pillars of our company strategy. 

As a IT Lead Business Analyst on this team, you will be responsible for developing, interpreting, reviewing, validating, documenting, and maintaining business and cross-system functional requirements. Here, you will evaluate business requests to determine cross-system feasibility, research and identify options, and recommend solutions that best serve business needs. You will also present information and track and respond to questions related to business standards to loyalty program stakeholders and solution area leadership. In addition, you will participate in cross-functional acceptance testing, identify potential problems, and research opportunities to minimize complexity. You will serve as the primary interface between IT partners, Product Owners and the Renter Solutions team. As a IT Lead Business Analyst, you will provide instruction and guidance to less senior team members on new tasks and assignments.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Coordinates and facilitates meetings to define key capabilities and requirements that will enable stakeholders to define business strategy. 
  • Leads the evaluation of business requests to determine feasibility; researches and identifies options; recommends solutions that best serve business needs.
  • Serves as the primary interface between our business partners and the IT team; presents formal presentations to end users, stakeholders, and management.
  • Leads structured walkthroughs of requirements with business and project team members.
  • Leads acceptance testing to ensure client/user needs are met. Presents information regarding enhancements and tracks and responds to questions from business and IT team members.
  • Identifies potential problems that may arise with new or enhanced applications; communicates how problems will affect business; recommends solutions.
  • Possesses extensive knowledge of the IT environment and broad knowledge of Enterprise’s lines of business.
  • Researches opportunities to minimize complexity by leveraging current IT investments and seeking out cost effective solutions.
  • Leads change management activities, including Q&A testing, troubleshooting, and investigation. Monitors task automation and implements process improvements; recommends enhancements that result in increase quality, efficiencies, and overall value to the IT organization.
  • Protects our customers, our employees, and our brands by incorporating security and compliance in all decisions and daily job responsibilities; follows security policies and procedures; continuously identifies and recommends opportunities for improving security

  • 4+ years of experience as a Sr Business Analyst, including working as part of a project team to coordinate activities of project phases, preferably in an IT environment
  • 3+ years of experience with Postman and/or SoapUI
  • Experience with Swagger tool
  • Experience leading medium to large-scale projects
  • Experience with task automation and process improvements
  • Experience writing technical documentation, including Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) preferably using Confluence
  • Experience using Jira, Confluence
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with APIs

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
  • Scrum certification
  • Experience using SQL
  • Experience in large-scale enterprise applications and processes
