Remote Landing Page Design information

What is remote landing page design?

Remote landing page design refers to the creation and optimization of web pages that are focused on converting visitors into leads or customers, all done by professionals who work from a remote location. These designers collaborate with clients online, using digital tools to understand project goals, create mockups, and implement effective designs. Remote landing page designers typically focus on user experience, clear calls to action, and visually appealing layouts to maximize conversions. This approach allows businesses to access a wider pool of talent and offers designers the flexibility to work from anywhere.

What key skills and qualifications are needed to excel as a remote landing page designer?

To excel as a Remote Landing Page Designer, you need a strong understanding of UX/UI principles, visual design, and proficiency in HTML/CSS, often supported by a portfolio of relevant work. Familiarity with design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, and platforms such as WordPress or Webflow is typically required. Creativity, attention to detail, and effective communication are crucial soft skills for translating client needs into high-converting landing pages. These skills ensure that landing pages both attract and convert visitors while meeting business objectives in a remote work environment.

How does collaboration typically work for remote landing page designers, and what tools are commonly used?

Remote landing page designers frequently collaborate with marketing teams, copywriters, and developers. Communication and feedback are usually managed through project management platforms like Asana or Trello, and design files are shared using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch. Regular video calls and chat channels (like Slack or Microsoft Teams) help keep everyone aligned on project goals and timelines. Effective remote designers proactively share updates and seek feedback to ensure their landing pages meet both user experience and conversion objectives.

Job description

Overview
Corporate Tools is looking for a Landing Page Designer/Developer to help our marketing teams refine and analyze our landing pages. We have a starting annual salary of $110,000. This is a remote position, but if you're near one of our local offices, you're welcome to come hangout with us in-office as well. Our main offices are in Post Falls, ID, and Spokane, WA; we also have satellite offices in Austin, TX, and Salt Lake City, UT. You'll be working 40 hours a week and, of course, enjoy great company benefits.
The role is a great opportunity if you are analytically minded but have a creative touch when it comes to creating landing page content. We manage many websites and want to improve our analysis of landing page success to help our business reach its goals. You'll test things out and determine how to get the most out of our landing pages.
Wage
$110,000 / year
Benefits
  • 100% employer-paid medical, dental and vision for employees
  • Annual review with raise option
  • 22 days Paid Time Off accrued annually, and 4 holidays
    • After 3 years, PTO increases to 29 days. Employees transition to flexible time off after 5 years with the company-not accrued, not capped, take time off when you want
    • The 4 holidays are: New Year's Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • Up to 6% company matching 401(k) with no vesting period
  • Quarterly allowance
    • Use to make your remote work set up more comfortable, for continuing education classes, a plant for your desk, coffee for your coworker, a massage for yourself... really, whatever
  • Open concept office with friendly coworkers
  • Creative environment where you can make a difference
  • No dumb benefits like free dog walking on the weekends that snobby hipster places have to make you feel cool, but mathematically won't cost the company much money because you won't use it
  • Trail Mix Bar - oh yeah

Responsibilities
  • Conceive, track, analyze, test, and create landing pages for PPC campaigns
  • Diagnose all things related to conversions on landing pages
  • Design, write, and manage landing page content for optimal conversions
  • Work with SEO team to implement SEO best practices on landing pages
  • Own landing page experimentation, from test design, to implementation, to analysis
  • Take a proactive approach to introducing new tools or strategies to level up optimization capabilities
  • Create performance reports and additional ad hoc analyses as requested

Requirements
  • 3+ years experience working with websites and/or pure awesome, undisputed talent
  • Experience as a Digital Media Buyer, PPC Specialist, Ad Optimization Specialist or Digital Media Analyst
  • Experience with Google analytics and tracking data
  • Experience using data and testing to drive optimization
  • Proactive communication style, using appropriate methods to increase collaboration
  • Relentless curiosity and an urge to innovate, measure and improve
