Job Description:
LJK Investigations, a leading investigation firm is seeking an experienced Private Investigator to join our team as a Remote Investigator for our Dallas-Ft. Worth, TX area.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct investigations related to criminal & civil cases, including but not limited to witness interviews, crime scene investigations, and background checks
  • Service of legal papers
  • Marketing of investigative services to businesses and attorneys
  • Analyze evidence
  • Organize and maintain case files and evidence
  • Conduct surveillance on individuals or locations to gather information
  • Collect evidence such as taking photographs, videos, or audio recordings of individuals or locations, or collecting physical evidence such as fingerprints or DNA samples.
  • Interview witnesses and other individuals who may have information relevant to a criminal or civil case
  • Research public records to gather information
  • Ensure that all investigations are conducted in accordance with legal and ethical standards
  • Provide clear and concise reports summarizing investigation findings
  • Testify in court as an expert witness to present findings and evidence
  • Manage and prioritize investigation assignments to meet deadlines
  • Use appropriate software and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Complete other administrative duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in private investigations and/or Law Enforcement required
  • Active Private Investigator License - state of Texas required
  • Must be a resident in the state of Texas - required
  • Strong knowledge of criminal defense laws and regulations
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex information
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and error-free work
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive information
  • Maintain Process Server Certification
  • Reliable transportation
  • Occasional evening, weekends or overnight assignments
