Job Description:
Job Summary
Maintains department inventory and assists in coordinating supply needs with providers and staff under general guidance. Monitors stock levels and ensures timely ordering of medications, supplies, and equipment following standard procedures. Supports contract compliance and operates within budgetary guidelines. Supports efficient and organized operations and works with internal stakeholders to meet departmental needs. Assists with consignment management, POU system maintenance, and routine inventory audits.
Essential Functions
• Monitors inventory levels and identifies low stock items, escalating issues to supervisor as needed.
• Works with internal teams to understand and respond to supply needs.
• Performs scanning, documentation, and reporting of supply transactions in Point of Use (POU) system(s), following standard procedures and ensuring data accuracy.
• Assists with tracking consumption patterns and reporting inventory needs escalating recommendations or discrepancies to supervisor.
• Conducts routine cycle counts, reconciles inventory records, and reports discrepancies to supervisor for review and corrective action.
• Completes and records mandatory daily, weekly, and monthly departmental checks, following established procedures and guidance.
• Performs inventory audits, cycle counts, and maintains accurate inventory records.
• Ensures compliance with materials management guidelines and maintains a clean, organized work area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Education Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent experience
Experience Requirement: 2-3 years of experience in a healthcare, clinical setting, or a relevant area
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.

Physical Demands
This position requires regular standing or walking with objects weighing up to 10 pounds; intermittent sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time; intermittent standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds; intermittent lifting, pushing, and/or pulling of objects weighing up to 50 pounds; and performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing or handling inventory). Also involves occasional lifting, pushing, and/or pulling of objects over 50 pounds; and some exposure to risk or injury from moving, lifting, or positioning equipment or materials; working at heights above 4 feet; working in confined spaces; risk of injuries from use of equipment on the job; exposure to loud noises, temperature extremes, hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, and cuts/punctures.
