Travel Insurance Claims Team Lead
Location: Remote
Position Type: Full-Time, W-2
Schedule: Flexibility to support business needs, including occasional weekends

Administrative Strategies is seeking an experienced Travel Insurance Claims Team Lead to lead a high-performing remote claims team while serving as a trusted partner to our clients. This role is ideal for a proven leader with deep travel insurance claims expertise who enjoys coaching teams, solving complex claims issues, and driving operational excellence.
As a key member of our leadership team, you will oversee claims operations, support employee development, manage client relationships, and ensure exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Travel Insurance Claims Adjusters.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor team performance, quality, productivity, and service metrics.
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex travel insurance claims and coverage determinations.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary liaison for operational discussions and issue resolution.
  • Drive process improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and customer experience.
  • Ensure compliance with policy provisions, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
  • Provide guidance on Trip Cancellation, Travel Medical, and other travel protection claims.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to achieve operational and client success.
Qualifications
Required:
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing and developing claims professionals.
  • 5+ years of travel insurance claims experience, including Trip Cancellation and Travel Medical claims.
  • Active P amp;C Claims Adjuster License.
  • Demonstrated success leading teams in a performance-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, communication, and client relationship skills.
  • Ability to effectively lead and motivate a remote team.
Preferred:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Insurance, Finance, or related field.
  • Multiple state adjuster licenses.
  • AIC, CPCU, or other industry designations.
  • Client-facing account management experience.
