This role partners closely with HR, Finance, Payroll, and business leaders to ensure compensation practices are competitive, equitable, compliant, and aligned with business objectives and operational realities.

  • Partner with HR, Finance, Payroll, and business leaders to ensure compensation programs support organizational goals and workforce needs

  • Administer salary ranges, job architecture, career paths, and compensation structures across the organization

  • Conduct market pricing, benchmarking, and compensation analyses to support competitive and equitable pay practices

  • Analyze internal equity, pay progression, and pay compression while providing data-driven recommendations

  • Lead annual compensation cycles, including merit increases, promotions, market adjustments, and compensation reviews

  • Support the design and administration of incentive, commission, and bonus programs tied to operational, safety, and financial performance

  • Ensure compensation practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining appropriate documentation and controls

You should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Human Resources, or a related field

  • Minimum of five years of progressive experience in compensation administration, compensation analysis, or a related HR analytics role

  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting compensation data, market surveys, and workforce trends

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience working with HRIS and compensation management systems

  • Working knowledge of compensation regulations, compliance requirements, and compensation best practices

  • Experience supporting compensation programs in construction, mechanical, electrical, or other project-driven industries is preferred

  • Experience supporting multi-location or multi-business unit organizations is preferred

  • Workday Compensation module experience preferred

  • CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) certification or progress toward certification preferred

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex compensation concepts in a clear and practical manner

  • Strong business acumen, sound judgment, attention to detail, and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
