Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking an IBM DataStage Developer for our client in the Consulting Services domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 5 Months Contract with possible extension

Location: Albany, NY (Remote)

Salary: $60.00 - $80.00/Hourly

Role: IBM DataStage Developer

Primary Skills: DataStage, ETL, Data Mapping

Role Description: The IBM DataStage Developer must have 7+ years of experience. For this role, we are looking for a skilled IBM DataStage ETL Developer, Ex IBM resource.

Key Skills:

- DataStage, ETL, Data Mapping.

Required Skills & Experience:

- IBM DataStage ETL/ELT development (design, build, optimize jobs).

- Mainframe data analysis (VSAM, DB2) and MSSQL data mapping.

- Strong understanding of data structures, relationships, and dependencies.

- Experience in data cleansing, transformation, and validation.

- Scripting for job orchestration, environment health checks, and patching.

- Performance tuning of ETL jobs to meet migration goals.

- Ability to create technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer.

- Experience in ETL monitoring, issue resolution, and support.
